Kicking off the SDG Delivery Lab during the 6th SDG Week in Bosnia and Herzegovina!

We are thrilled to share that the first module of the “SDG Delivery Lab: Sustainable Public Projects” officially launched in Sarajevo on October 22, as a key part of the 6th SDG Week in BiH.
This initiative brings together 14 municipalities from across Bosnia and Herzegovina to transform institutional ideas into concrete, sustainable public projects aligned with the Global Goals.

Highlights from Module 1:

  • Opened with inspiring remarks by His Excellency Gabriele Derighetti, Swiss Ambassador to BiH, and Milos Prica, Co-Chair of The SDG Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
  • Expertly led by Kathy Müller Rodriguez and Paolo Crugnola, who bring years of extensive experience in sustainable development and capacity building for municipalities.
  • An engaging, hands-on workshop where participants explored practical approaches to public value creation, prioritized local needs, and mapped their challenges directly to the 17 SDGs.

What’s next?
This is just the beginning! The program continues with a series of online and in-person modules, culminating in a study visit to Switzerland to exchange with Swiss practitioners. The ultimate goal? A 9-month implementation roadmap—and the best projects will receive grants to bring their sustainable visions to life.

A huge thank you to all the participants for their energy and commitment to creating long-term public value!
